Customer Review: The Gold Star standard for creating web sites!

Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 is the quintessential gold standard tool for building web sites. It's relatively easy to use, and has many wonderful features. You can do split screen between the "WYSIWYG" view and the code view, or use full screens and switch back and forth easily with the tab menu. Placing your cursor anywhere in the window also places the cursor in the corresponding spot in the other window. Although pricey for some, it's still the all around best tool available in my opinion. Other programs strive to be like Dreamweaver, but don't quite measure up.Customer Review: A Quality Product

I've been using Dreamweaver for several years now. Overall it's a quality product. The only issue I have with it is its FTP connectivity. At times the connectivity is efficient at others it seems to need to reestablish its connection causing downtime. However, this may not be a result of the software itself but rather an ISP issue. If you are a descent software user, the kind of person who enjoys learning applications, then I recommend Dreamweaver CS3. I used this software to build my first website [...] and I would not have been able to do it without this software. Yes, there are other products but this one allowed me to create a fully functioning website without having had any prior html experience.

The advantages of the upgrade are seemingly endless. Some of the more important features are: better conversion of word docs, copy-and-paste functionality from other programs, and updates to PHP and ASP.net features. Having been forced by Mr. Bill Gates's disastrous Windows Vista rollout to upgrade from my previous version of Dreamweaver, with which I was pretty happy, I am encountering nothing but anger, frustration and dissatisfaction with Adobe over CS3. At the moment I am jumping through their hoops trying to get tech help through their labyrinthine online support, and am just about finished before I have even gotten started. The product itself is fine for the task; too bad about their evasive and infuriating disinclination toward support. Aargh aargh aargh.
