Customer Review: BUYER BEWARE !! NOT ENOUGH INFO ON PRODUCT PAGE !!!!!!

I got this for my MacBook with OS X and Dual-Core Intel Processor. Unfortunately, Elements 2.0 isn't compatible with Macs with Intel processors. This was nowhere in the description of the product, which is odd because Intel processors in Macs are fairly common these days. So, basically I've got great software I bought to use on my MacBook, but instead can only use it on my PC.
I'm leaving a poor rating not because it isn't a quality product, but because buyers are so poorly warned of compatibility conflicts. The aforementioned rating only applies as long as this information is absent.

I recently purchased Adobe Photoshope 2 and was very disappointed to find it only works if I load Mac 9.2 in the background. Practically equivalent to Photoshop 7 but much easier to use, this program is a steal, definitely worth a look if you can still find it. Very sophisticated yet simple to use. Most "fixes" are automated (if desired) and can be accessed via the "Enhance > Quick Fix" tab. Easily auto-levels, auto-rotates, crops, equalizes, focuses, sharpens, color adjusts, and has fantastic "equalize" and "fill flash" feature that can save many a low-exposure photo. You see the effect in preview form before any edit is committed to the photo. In "filters > artistic > watercolor", the program provides a super method for creating watercolor still lifes and portraiture with manageable versatility. In summary, Photoshop Elements 2.0 provides exceptional ability and value in what may be Photoshop's most easy-to-learn package. Customer Review: It should come with a crutch it's so lame

It's not that this program isn't useful, it's that there are freeware photo editing programs that do everything this does and more in a more streamlined way. Before you buy this do a search for Photofiltre or any of the other freeware programs.
Why waste your money like I did?

I will never buy another Adobe Product. This program has a very steep learning curve. Once I got the hang of it I found that every time I want to use it I have to reinstall it, and it won't work if I don't let it call home for permission. This wastes a lot of time. Much as I hate to do so, I will go back to Microsoft.
