While on assignment I was hit by a car and am 100% disabled. Standard darkroom work is next-to-impossible for me so I saved Social Security Disability money to purchase Photoshop 7 for my computer and Epson printer. For some reason when using Photoshp 7 and I go to "Print With Preview" for an image I have on the screen not only does it disappear completely off the screen, but the black triangle in the dock under the Photoshop 7 symbol also disappears. Called Adobe, but because there is now a print system replacing Photoshop 7 Adobe refuses to answer any question I ask about solving my problem.
Yes, Adobe is a business and profit is the game, but to not continue to offer technical support for an Adobe product purchased by anyone and in this case a customer who is handicapped is immoral.
Wat's the problem ? No profit in giving tech. support for lder Adobe products meaning the customer with the problem will be forced to buy the new product ?

This program is amazing. The program has so many features that it will take you years to learn and be able to use them all. The art that you can create with this application is stunning. Most web site's pictures and graphics are made in Photoshop. People that want to create art, use photoshop.

Photoshop 7 is currently the best cheapest edition of Photoshop out meaning it's great for teens/children like me to play around for a bit. I like to create comics, Draw Cartoons, and share them on the internet with online friends. I also run a small local online business with this program and Paint Shop Pro 8. Great graphics program this is. It can create dazzling 3-d effects and if you still aren't satisfied with all the filters and effects of such, you could always downlaod some cool ones off 3rd party sites on google. This is a great program to set that computer wizkid of your's imagination free. This program does get quite boring after awhile like all stuff does.Customer Review: Poweful and Perplexing

There is no doubt that Adobe Photoshop 7 is an extremely powerful tool well suited to the needs of professionals. It has the capabilities of doing things with raster images which are simple amazing for someone like me who is at the Etch-a-sketch level of development. That being said, it is also a particularly frustrating tool for someone like me to try and use. Perhaps this is because it is complex beyond my needs and desires but it also has something to do with the infuriating user interface.
I am not particularly interested in doing graphic art work. I just need it sometimes. So it is that I was fairly resistant to learning the program. In time, though, I did need its capabilities. I just hated wading through the Adobe interface. I have the same problem with PageMaker; it is me, not the program.....usually.
Photoshop is extremely capable. It is also pricy. I would venture to say that unless you need all of the advanced capabilities, you could do better with another package. I like the Macromedia Fireworks interface. Still, Photoshop leads the pack. It is the standard. It is a status that has been earned. I just wish the interface was more intuitive and simple.

This is definitley the coolest program I have ever used! when you learn what you want/need to know, it becomes fun and easy to use! One of the best programs out there, especially if you need to restore an old photograph.
