Software Reviews of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 [OLD VERSION]Customer Review: Very good Product but...there is something better Summary: 2 StarsOk so i bought this product after being enthralled with v.6 but some thing else caught my eye. Fireworks MX, the wonderful interface of Fireworks MX has me only usig photoshop to export as .pdf, the ability to download "extentions" as they are called is amazing it adds new features galore. So if youre considering photoshop go with Firewoks MX its much better
Customer Review: Good even for the amateur user Summary: 5 StarsPhotoshop not only saved my life working at a newspaper, it's been a fantastic program to use in creating graphics and photos for my Web sites. New features on 7.0 take a few sessions to get used to, particularly for anyone upgrading from a version before 5.5, but overall, the program is better and easier than ever. Even an amateur, learn-it-yourself user should find Photoshop easy to manage - though for the price, I'd say this is an expert-geared product.
Customer Review: The right choice Summary: 5 StarsWell, to start off Photoshop is the best image-editing tool in the business. I learned Photoshop in school and from I can tell you that to purchase Photoshop is worth it. Photoshop is a tool for younger people who know more or less how to use certain tools like maybe some have messed around with Paint on your computer well Photoshop is really an upscale to that a professional tool and really I think it is one of the easiest programs to use. Sure, people say that there are other programs that are better. Well, I have news for them there isn't any better program out there I mean I have Paint Shop Pro 8 the latest version and well it does not even compare one bit to Photoshop. Sure, Photoshop is more expensive, but let me tell you for the price it is worth it.
Customer Review: Best photo editor there is! Summary: 5 StarsIf you do any kind of work with photography or imaging, this is the most essential tool in your toolbox. With nearly endless options, you can extend your creativity to the max, once you figure out how everything works. I would recommend this program to anyone, but only if you want to cough up $550.
Customer Review: Awesome program... many applications Summary: 5 StarsI'm a freshman in high school and had no expierience in Photoshop until I began. There, I quickly fell in love with the program. I've worked with 5.0, 6.0, and 7.0, and 7.0 is easily the best out of all of them.I'll agree with the other reviewers: it is hard to learn at first. But as soon as you begin to understand the concept of layers and get into the tools a little more, it's really quite an easy program to learn. There's a wide array of filters to change the look of your images, a variety of brushes, the healing tool (which is wonderful for touching up photos), and many others. I've edited my own photos and created graphics and banners for personal forays into web design. ImageReady is also a great tool for creating animated images, rollovers, and image maps, and also serves as a mini version of photoshop when you don't feel like booting up the whole thing. I also have Corel PhotoPaint 9 at home, and Photoshop is easily the superior product. Period.
