Software Reviews of Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 & Adobe Premiere Elements 4 [OLD VERSION]Customer Review: Photoshop Elements/Premiere Elements Summary: 2 StarsThe software is used primarily by my teenager. It has totally crashed the hard drive on my XP machine twice. I finally had to uninstall the Premiere Elements and have not had a problem since (fingers crossed). I purchased an external hard drive and will try running it on that.
Customer Review: Very Disappointed Summary: 2 StarsI paid $120 for this product. When I received it, I found there was no user guide for the Photoshop Elements or for the Premiere Elements. Come to find out, ADOBE no longer puts the user guides in the box...you have to pay an extra $40 for each one if you want it!!! I think that's pathetic!
Customer Review: sounds great in theory, but not working Summary: 1 StarsThis product looks great, sounds great. BUT, we can't get it to do any of the wonderful things it claims to be able to let you do. We purchased the classroom in a book (guide),,,and we've spend hours trying to figure it out. Just NOT working like it says it does. Very frustrating & a waste of money. Hope you all have better luck...I just can't recommend it.
Customer Review: Disappointed Summary: 2 StarsI purchased this product thinking it was going to give me some of the benefits of Roxio's CD Creator and Pinnacle's Studio Plus, the only benefit it gave was in downloading pictures from my camera, it automatically will take out red eye, I would recommend using the free version to do this, the $100+ I spent for this program wasn't worth the money.
Customer Review: Photoshop/Premiere Combo Pack Summary: 4 StarsBoth came in the same box, neither had extensive hardcopy documentation. But both are now installed on my Vista-OS computer, and as far as I know are working fine. Child #2 uses the Premiere for video editing, or uses "pinnacle". Child #3 loves the Photoshop for editing photos.
