I was a little worried at first, with all of the negative reviews I was finding, and alot about it being very buggy. However I have yet to encounter a problem with this program. It works wonderfully with my imac and the tools it provides are perfect for my purposes. As an Adobe Elements 2.0 user for years, I couldn't believe that I had let myself keep such an old copy. This version is so much easier to use in my opinion, most likely because of my dramatic switch in versions, but overall I have nothing bad to say about this product, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to make good grahpics for websites or photo editing but doesn't want to pay for the full thing.Customer Review: Not for first time users

Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac is hard to use. I had to purchase the "Missing Manual" at a cost of $50.00. In my opinion, it is not user friendly. I have had several Photoshops when I had my Dell, Borderbund, American Greetings, ect..and they were so user friendly, easy to use. I am disappointed. Elements 6 needs just a few more features to make me happy. If you don't need too many bells and whistles, upgrade to the new Apple iLife 09, it's much better at image editing now. A program called Pixelmator is becoming very popular. Learn more at Pixelmator. If your well off just get PhotoShop.Customer Review: A Fairly Complete Version of Photoshop

As someone who had a previous version of Photoshop back in the 90's, this version has most of the features of earlier versions, but lacks the ability to cut graphics into web "rollovers." Other than that, this is a fairly complete version of the most often used PS tools. You can work with layers, cut and paste using marquee and lasso tools, crop & resize, etc. There's even a guided mode for people that don't have a lot of graphics experience.
Very pleased, would recommend to my friends.

I have owned Mac's with OS X for many years - I have never had an application so difficult to install. I'm sure if I played with it long enough maybe I could get it to work. The instructions are not clear and once you figure out how to install photoshop elements 6 for the Mac, then the installation freezes half way thru!! I tried to install on a new MacBook 13 inch Aluminum with Leopard 10.5.7
