Software Reviews of Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 [OLD VERSION]

Customer Review: Adobe photoshop Elements6
Summary: 3 Stars

The price of this product is good. ONe needs to be computer savvy to fully take advantage of this product. Although, with practice, you can fully master all the tiny computer symbols and their meanings.

Customer Review: My first Amazon purchase
Summary: 3 Stars

I recently purchased the Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 version. I was led to believe that I would receive a $20.00 rebate and I made the purchase because of this lower price. However, when I received my statement, I was informed that the rebate would only be valid if I was updating an earlier version. Since this was my first purchase from Amazon and any photoshop products, I couldn't get the rebate.
I won't be shopping with Amazon in the near future.

Customer Review: One of those "Elements" in 6.0 must be plutonium!
Summary: 1 Stars

I wish I'd read this list of dreadful reviews first. At least I got it in a 2-pack with Premier Elements 4, so it really only cost me fifty bucks. There are very few things I can do in Elements 6 without getting the Black Screen of Doom. Is this a beta version, or what? Somebody call Terminix!

Customer Review: Nice upgrade from 3.0
Summary: 4 Stars

Upgraded from 3.0 so I could have a VISTA certified product. This program installed with no problems and works well. It has new features that seem to simplify my editing. I do not know what all the complaining about the gray screen is about. It is not a problem on a good monitor to read the text or see the icons.

Customer Review: Looking forward to PSE 7
Summary: 2 Stars

I've been a PSE user since version 2 and have to agree with a lot of other folks who are not happy.

While I have to admit that the new features are nice enough, I get program crashes far too often. I'm not using Vista either. I'm using XP which has proven reliable with every other piece of software I've used including PSE 5.

I really resent companies that make their customers the beta testers and Adobe has certainly done that here.

Instead of pre-ordering PSE 7 as I did with PSE 6, I will be waiting to see the reviews.
